The Legacy of Babe Ruth

“The Sultan of Swat," "The King of Crash," "The Colossus of Clout” and, of course, “The Great Bambino,” Babe Ruth changed the face of baseball as we know it. Even decades after he broke record after record, many of them his own, Ruth’s lore continues to grace baseball diamonds and backyard games across the nation. He played his final major league game on May 30, 1955, putting an end to a legendary career.
