Retrospectacle: Remembering the Mullet

What’s old is new and sometimes just won’t go away. The hairstyle known as the “mullet” dates back to ancient Greece, Mesopotamia, Egypt and the 1970s. Oh, and the '80s and '90s too. The hairstyle or “look” was defined by Paul McCartney and David Bowie. It was carried on for decades by Hollywood and other celebrities. But now the brunt of jokes and ridicule, the “mullet” may finally rest in peace in nostalgia movies and television shows.
